There’s a thin line between love and hate . . . and it cuts right through the middle of their office.

Bad boys? They run right over good girls like Georgina Keller.

But after a confidence-shattering breakup, she’s determined not to let anyone at her new workplace push her around—least of all the brooding creative director, a “bad boy of publishing” who’s made it clear she’s enemy #1.

Sebastian Quinn's taste for fast cars, late nights, and beautiful women may have gotten him to the top of a leading New York magazine, but the reputation that made him is suddenly threatening to end his career.

Georgina can help Modern Man shed its bad reputation, but in order to do that, she’ll have to start at the top—and no amount of rakish charm or inconvenient attraction will distract her.

Excerpt

At the stadium’s concession stand, I took a tall stool, putting Georgina and I at eye level since she stood. “So, why didn’t you kiss François?” I asked. “Bad breath?”
She gasped into her hand. “My breath is fine.”
“I meant his. I’m sure yours is pure relish on a hotdog.”
She made a face. “Gross.”
“I happen to love relish,” I said. “But does François?”
Each time I said François with flourish, she flinched. I didn’t care. Something about him bugged me—I just couldn’t put my finger on it.
“We didn’t kiss because you interrupted us,” she pointed out.
“So? If I were in his position, and we both wanted that kiss, I wouldn’t let anyone stop me.”
Frank and I are clicking,” she said, scowling. “There was even mention of spending time at his summerhouse.”
“Hamptons?”
She coughed into her fist. “Boca Raton.”
The idea of Georgina spending a summer with him in Boca Raton was tragic enough that I almost smiled. I got the sense she was playing up the date. If it was so great, why wasn’t she sitting here with him? And why was I more relieved than smug about that? “Meanwhile, Justin and I will be clamming in Montauk.”
“You two should really just make it official and announce your love to the world.”
“But then I wouldn’t get to flirt with pretty girls.”
“For someone who pretends to have as much game as you,” she said, “I still haven’t seen you successfully flirt with any girls since I’ve known you.”
I smirked. “How do you know I’m not flirting with you right now?”

REID...
Reid pulls me close, his fingers tunneling into my hair before he says, “Ever fucked in a limo, baby?” and before I can answer, his mouth closes down on mine and he’s crazy, hot kissing me. “Well?” Reid challenges, his lips parting mine after a scorching kiss. “Have you ever fucked in a limo?” “No,” I say, my hand flattening on his really hard and perfect chest, while my sex clenches in denial of my rejection about to follow. “I have not and I’m not starting now. Have you?” “No,” he says. “Which makes it all the better that I do it with you. The only woman I plan to ever fuck again in this lifetime.” He kisses me and his hand slides under my shirt and over my breast. “We paid a lot of money for this private limo,” he says. “Let’s enjoy it.” “We?” I ask, catching his hand under my shirt but it does no good to stop him. His fingers shove down the lace of my bra. “Yes. We. What’s mine is yours and just to be clear, you’re mine now.” He latches onto my nipple with his fingers and I moan with the sweet friction. “Reid,” I whisper huskily. “More, baby?” He rolls me to my back onto the long leather seat and then comes down on top of me. “You want my mouth on your nipple?” “Stop,” I warn, clenching my thighs to no avail. His big body is separating them, and both of us have a leg dangling off the seat. “We can’t—” He kisses me again, a deep, drugging kiss, while his hand squeezes my breast, and his thick cock nestles against my sex. I moan and he presses his cheek to mine, his lips at my ear. “I do believe you need my mouth on your nipple right now.” “Reid,” I hiss, but it’s too late. He’s dragging my shirt up and over my head, tossing it aside and almost immediately his mouth is on one of my nipples, suckling, and licking. “What if—” He kisses me. “I paid for privacy.” I push on his chest. “We’re in Japan. How do you know you really paid for privacy?” “It’s Japan, baby. They respect agreements here, more than Americans.” He kisses me again and his hand slides around my backside, squeezing and lifting me against him. “Maybe I should spank you right here.” “No!” I say urgently, shoving on his chest again. “Not a chance in hell.” He laughs low and sexy. “But I can fuck you?” “Are you really trying to negotiate right now?” I challenge. “I’m just trying to get inside my future wife.” He strokes a lock of hair from my face, his expression softening, his voice tender now. “Wife, Carrie. I never thought I’d call anyone that. I never thought I’d want anyone like that.” My heart squeezes. “Husband,” I whisper. “From asshole to husband. I never—” “You changed me, Carrie. You. Just you. And I need you to know that I will protect you. That I will never hurt you.” My fingers splay on his cheek and I know he’s thinking of the girlfriend that gave up her life for him. “Reid, you can’t walk around afraid for me. That’s not living.” “I will protect you,” he promises, his tone guttural, as if I haven’t even spoken, his mouth covering mine in a deep kiss, before he returns to my nipple, this time I don’t fight the pleasure. He needs this right now. Maybe I do, too. I arch into the intimate touch of his lips, his tongue, into the taut pull of his teeth against my nipple. My fingers dive into his blond hair but he moves down my body, his lips on my belly, his tongue flickering into my belly button even as he unsnaps my jeans. This jolts me and I grab his hand, lifting my head to look at him. “Are you sure we’re safe in here?” Those beautiful blue eyes of his meet mine. “I promise, baby. No one will interrupt us.” “You’re sure?” “I promise and—” “You never break a promise,” I say, stopping him there. “That’s a very marrying quality, by the way.” His lips, those brutally sexy lips, curve. “Good to know. Trust me now, Carrie.” Trust him. There is a question in his eyes, a roughness to his voice. He proposed, but on the heels of so many opportunities for me to question him. This appeal to “trust him now” isn’t about sex in a limo. It’s about so much more. “I do trust you,” I say, and my voice isn’t a whisper, just a tremble of emotion spoken quite clearly. He studies me for several long beats and then tugs my jeans down, taking the tiny strip of silk I’m wearing with them, with my shoes following. I barely have time to process just how vulnerable I am before Reid pulls his shirt over his head. “So you know you’re never naked alone, not again. Not ever.” Emotion wells in my chest and he is already on top of me, kissing me, his cheek pressing to mine as he whispers, “I love you.” “I love you, too,” I whisper back, only to have him slide down my body again

He grew up surrounded by it, so as an adult he likes things nice and orderly: His apartment, his hockey schedule, even his dates. When his best friend and teammate asks him to take his visiting sister to a rock concert, he isn’t expecting the sultry, leather-clad vixen that has his jaw dropping. Force of nature Kristina Papdakis feels like two separate people sometimes: The demure, proper Greek girl she was raised to be, and the badass rock musician she could be. She’s never had a problem keeping her worlds apart until her brother’s straight-laced but oh-so-hot teammate stumbles into both of them, creating a collision she wasn’t looking for. As Royce and Tina explore an unexpected but undeniable passion, they soon discover that love isn’t always enough. Opposites might attract, but they’ll have to learn to compromise if they want to last. REVIEW

Excerpt

Kiera’s room is dark, so I force myself to be still for a few seconds, allowing my eyes to adjust. When the crack of light leaking in from under the door goes from barely visible to a golden haze rising up from the floor I step forward towards the edge of the four-poster bed, unknotting my tie and pulling it through my collar as I walk.
“Kiera?” I ask, pulling my shirt out of my pants and unbuttoning my shirt. “You awake?”
She moans, rolling over, one of her pale breasts exposed from her top, one long leg bare as it sneaks out from under the covers. Her hair is wild, splayed out on the pillow and half covering her beautiful face.
I want to turn the lights on. Want to see her better. See all of her. Never take my eyes off this woman. I want to make this whole nightmare go away. Give her something better. Leave behind my old life with all its expectations and just steal away with her to some far-away tropical island. Stay naked with her forever and raise babies on the beach.
God, what the fuck is wrong with me? We’ve been back in each other’s lives for less than forty-eight hours and all I can think about is throwing everything away?
You’re in love, Con.
I hear the words in her voice inside my head.
You’re in love.
Maybe I am.
I unbuckle my belt and unfasten my pants. Drag my zipper down, trying to be quiet.
I don’t want to wake her. I want to ease into bed, slip my fingers between her legs, and kiss her mouth as she dreams. Make her come in her sleep.
I am one sick fuck and I don’t care.
When I’m naked I place one knee on the bed and carefully swing my other leg over hers. She twists, flat on her back now. That one exposed breast caught in some stray ray of light that shouldn’t be there, but is. Like a spotlight just for my own sick, hedonistic pleasure.
Thinking back on the party at Camille’s house has turned back time for me. Taken me to the place I was, the person I used to be. The one who fucked her and Sofia—and sometimes Camille too. The one who didn’t mind sharing with Hayes or Bennett because they didn’t mind sharing with me.
It was an orgy. Group sex or whatever.
It was sick, and twisted, and very fucking erotic.
It was heavy breathing, and sweaty, naked bodies, and never enough.
It was never enough that year.
We fucked them all. Together.
It was sensuous, and uninhibited, and lecherous.
How did I ever walk away from these people? How did I ever live a day without them?
I place my hand on her one exposed leg and slowly slide it up to her thigh.
She moans again, mouth parted like she’s waiting for my cock.
I picture those nights long ago. At the parties. How Camille would always be the one to invite us in. And how Hayes would be the first to take her up on those offers. How Sofia was meek, and afraid, and shy. And how she changed. How we all changed.
How Kiera used to whimper and moan as she came.
I want to hear that sound now. Right now.
I lean forward, crawling up her body, my rock-hard cock dragging across the sheets. Aching to be inside her.

Tinsley:
No one knows the demons I carry. No one knows the hell I've been through.
Once upon a time, my life had been happy, perfect, and everything I ever wanted...until the day I lost hope.

My cousin, Chatty, said I needed protection, so she took me to the Satan's Sinners. I'm not the one who needs protection though. The people I'm seeking revenge against need protection from me.

Maybe after I find vengeance...after I find hope, I can be whole again.

Romeo:
Women. I should stay far away from them, especially after the last woman I loved almost got me killed. I say that, but then why am I entranced by the quiet girl who stays in her room? I know almost nothing about her, and yet, I can tell you every detail of her beauty. She's a distraction that I don't need; however, she's my charge, and I'm supposed to watch her for the club. Her eyes tell me she's hiding something.

How far am I willing to go to find out who Tinsley really is?

Excerpt:
The sun is just beginning to set when we pull into the parking lot. We step onto the sidewalk, but my phone is pinging like crazy in my pocket. I pull it out and continue moving while she looks at the water.

As I'm replying to messages from Hanger, I hear her huff loudly. When I glance up, she has her hands on her hips, and she's glaring at me.

"What?" I ask confused.

"All you did at dinner was have your nose in that phone.” She steps closer to me. “All you've done here is have your nose in that phone.” She shuffles even closer.

My brow cocks and a grin forms. "You want me to put my phone away?"

She mischievously smirks and bites her bottom lip. Before I even realize what's happening, she snatches my phone out of my hands. "Tin, give me my phone back," I sternly demand.

"And if I don't?" She taunts while holding it above her head.

"Give me my phone." I hold my hand out and roll my eyes at her ridiculousness.

Her hand rears back, and she throws my phone in the water. "Oops."

"Oops?!" My eyes widen in shock. "I can't believe you did that! I have to have my phone! The fuck am I supposed to do now?" I can’t miss the sounds of the guys behind us, cackling like teenagers.

She shrugs innocently. "I guess you should go get it then." With all of her strength, she pushes me, and I lose my footing as I fall into the water, but not before grabbing her arm and pulling her in right along with me.

Both of us are going under, and when we come up, she's laughing harder than I've ever heard, and it's a beautiful sound. I start laughing with her, lifting my arms to dunk her again.

When she comes back up, I tug her close to me, our eyes searching one another’s as our laughter dies. Without even thinking, my lips smash against hers.
