This book was so well written I read it in one reading, unable to put it down. I love that Lucian brings out Mercy who deal with pain and being broken by putting trust and love out into the world. This is a delicate balance of ying and yang Mercy brings the trust while Sade brings on the pain and loathing. This book had some emotional triggers for myself while reading but it was so well written that instead of going to that dark place the Character of Mercy brought me into the light yet again. This book was so beautifully written that all the characters are strong and their back stories (which unravel throughout the story) speak volumes all are well developed and mesh so well that it truly is hard to find any fault with this story. The story is packed with emotion on both a physical and mental level. Will Mercy be able to help Sade work through the brokenness or will the rage within Sade bring Mercy down....You need to read to discover that answer.
