a young woman that lives in San Francisco. It has been YEARS since she has
been home to see her family in Nevada. She works at a grooming shop for pets with a woman named Willa who is her boss. Willa asks another friend of hers that works in the building, Max, to help drive Rory home for the Holidays since they are from the same area. Watching the interaction between sets of people is fun. Max's dog Carl is the comic relief of the bunch. You know, that type of dog that is HUGE and thinks he's a small lap dog? You can imagine how Carl milks things in this book. This was one fun read. I am going to have to find more books from this author. I had fun reading this. |
