| Living on a Prayer by Avelyn Paige - For me, this book started out with nothing but laughs. Finding out about June Bug and her family's past when it comes to the South, Church, and God...well, that's something that will have you laughing too! Reading about Dixie Ryder and what her life has been like compared to that of Lachlan Lee was quite interesting. What happens after Dixie gets married? What happens that we find her working for her Uncle Max? Who is Ashley? What bombshell is dropped on Dixie? What do we learn about Dixie, aka Rogue, a few years after the bombshell? Finding out the truth about certain things truly surprised me. Gotta love this second chance romance. You Give Love a Bad Name by Winter Travers - We get to know more about Stiletto in this story. I do not like Mr. Johns. Her reaction to Pryor Jones is hilarious. Who is Sneaks? Why is Sneaks inside Stiletto's home? Oh, Pryor is great fun! Getting to see the attraction between folks is a hit. Titz is so funny in this book! She certainly helps break up some of the tension, especially about Links' garden. The sexual tension in this story is intense!!! Unbreakable by Geri Glenn - We follow Links in this story! Woot! Who is Blake? What do we learn about his relationship with Links? This story hit home for me. I could relate on some levels to her. Who is Brit Boy? Oh, I love Links' anger... Her lines are a hoot! When Links sees Roman again, what is he doing? When Grimm, her maneater Great Dane, meets roman, what happens? I could not stop laughing at the last line of Chapter 6. That will be my new motto. Once again, everything becomes about sex where Titz is concerned. Oh my god! How Links got her hands on Charlie Hunnam is a hoot. Let's just say, "Karma is a ......" You fill in the blank. Born to be My Baby by GM Scherbert - We finally get to Titz's story. I think I like Adrik. He is a new client for Titz. Just who is he? Where is he from? What brought him to Titz's shop? Oh good lord, this book was not what I expected & Adrik is so much more. It was good to see someone that could settle down her voyeristic tendencies and her mouth as well as protecting her. |
