Hard Truth is the second book in Hard to Love Duet. Must read in order, this book picks up right where it left off in Hard Place, and I couldn't wait to dive in and find out what happens. Harper is so shocked when she opens her door, that she doesn't know what to think. Let alone what is the right thing to do, all she knows is her girls comes first. Now she has two different men vying for her love. I was going back and forth in my mind about which one Harper should or shouldn't be with, every other page I changed my mind. I liked them both for different reason.
I will say I was a little disappointed in the way Harper was portrayed in this book, don't get me wrong I know her life was thrown into a tailspin, but she appeared weak at times, not like the strong willed woman I meet in th first book. Overall I liked the story, it was full of emotion, and the characters were great.
