Rule: The Finale (Black Hearts Still Beat, #3)
3.5 stars
Things weren't good between Rafe and Eva at the end of Rise. Rule picks up where Rise left off. This is the conclusion of their love story.
Rafe is determined to prove to Eva that he chooses her no matter what that may mean for his relationship with his brother Levi and/or the band but their journey to love won't be a smooth and easy one. There is a lot of steam and drama in this book but not a lot of angst. We get answers to questions we have been looking for. The main characters have great chemistry. We see more of the other band members in this book as well as a new character. The plot is good but I think it could have been more developed. I felt like there were things missing. This is a good read but I feel not as good as the others. This book does end with a HEA.

Author Bio
Author of over thirty mature young adult and new adult
novels, L A is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive
stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.
Home is a small town in the middle of England where she currently juggles being a full-time writer with being a mother/referee to two little people. In her spare time (and when she’s not camped out in front of the laptop) you’ll most likely find L A immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.
