“You are so beautiful,” I whisper. I know I’m playing with fire right now, but I’m beginning not to care anymore.
Lani licks her lips, it’s like she’s begging for me to kiss her. As much as I want to, I just can’t. I can’t do that, and I can’t do it to Molly. They’re best friends and I wouldn’t want it to destroy their friendship.
I reluctantly let her go. “We’ve got a busy day tomorrow. Maybe we should call it a night.” She follows me out of the pool.
I wrap her towel around her—my eyes never leaving hers as I slowly dry her off. My heart is pounding in my chest, squatting down in front of her I dry her legs off. My eyes drift down to her long shapely legs.
My fingers ghost over her smooth skin. I don’t miss Lani’s quick inhale of her breath or the rapid rise and fall of her chest. If I close my eyes, I swear I can smell her. My dick stands at attention and begs me to be inside her.
“Ahem…you better get inside.” My voice is hoarse, laced with desire. “I’ll-uh… see you in the morning.”
“Goodnight,” she whispers. Her voice is melodic and makes my blood sing. I don’t stand up until she’s inside and I see the guest bedroom light flip on upstairs. Only then do I extinguish the torches and head inside.

Jessica… I dart toward the door in the far right corner and enter the bathroom, where I find a giant old-fashioned, barrel-style tub. I open one of the white cabinet doors and also find a towel, but I’m just too wet for it to help. Like that woman was for Craig. Oh God. There I go again. No. No. No. I will not think those thoughts. No more. I’m done. With him. With her. I strip down naked, wrap the towel around me, and hunt for my suitcase, which I hope like heck has the other bag of chocolate I packed. Not thinking about it, just acting on instinct, I leaned forward and kissed her warm skin. She gasped, but I didn’t pull back. Especially when she didn’t protest, she smelled so good, like coconuts and sunshine. 
“Hey, baby,” I said right against her skin. “It’s Daddy. I hope everything is going well in there. I know it’s getting tight, but soon you’ll be able to roll around in all the space you want.”
I peeked up at Carina to find her eyes glazed over again, and her lip firmly clasped under her teeth. 
Another kick brought my attention back to her stomach. “That’s a hell of a kick. Are you going to be a soccer player? Or maybe that’s your arm, and you’ll play baseball just like Daddy.” Another kick and I was so excited; I just got lost in the moment. The next thing I knew, Carina was laughing—her whole body shaking—as I started doing baby-talk. “Who’s gonna be the best baseball player ever? You will. Yeah. You will. You’re gonna kick all their asses. Yes, you will.”
“Ian,” Carina reprimanded around her laughs. “Stop swearing at the baby.”
