Wow, getting to know Holden better and really getting a chance to learn about Leighton is great!
Watching Leighton and Holden's story come together is wonderful. The care that he takes with her
is mind blowing and makes me wish I had my own MTF man. Especially living in a place where
I know Moonshine can be found up in the mountains. It is a scary thought. To watch as Leighton
 takes Caleb under her wing, like a big sister might was wonderful. Watching as Holden and
Leighton finally start to get real with one another was incredible. When Leighton calls the station,
calling in a situation at The Diner one day, what happens? Who is in trouble? When Caleb calls his
father for help one night, what has happened? Why does Caleb feel guilty? Try telling a teenage
boy that it isn't his fault! Who's fault is it? When Leighton has a blown tire one night on the side of
the road, who stops by to try and help, or at least offers to? What does Leighton say? Man, I wished
I could have been a mosquito flying around in front of the headlights of the car on that one. It was
great when Holden showed up. Why does Holden go to see Brooks? What does he tell him? What is
the outcome? You're going to have to read this book. This is one series that does not disappoint. For
the third book in the series, the intensity was ramped up for me!
