Honey, Romance, and Danger…
As August winds down, George Sheth and Murphy Baird are ready to put months of murder mysteries behind them. They hope for calmer days as they move in together. But it’s all for nought when his pug, Bumble, stumbles on the body of a new bride in the middle of the lane.
It’s clear Bumble didn’t kill anyone, but someone did—and they may have set their sights on George.
With a wedding party full of potential suspects, they find themselves caught between the police and angry family members.
Can they make it safely through the end of summer alive?

How is it that George and Bumble stumble upon a dead body so quickly? Who is it, and where? Who thinks they'll be blamed? Who are Cara, Valerie, Jimmy, and Polly? Why do one or two keep showing up at someone's house? Why does Polly show up at 5 am? When George and Murphy started messaging Elwin, I had to laugh at Murphy's comment about the picture Elwin was sent. I love how Murchpy is supportive of George's neurodiversity and sensory needs. You can feel the love between them. What happens when first Jimmy and second Bumble show up at the tavern? Cara, Jimmy, and Polly are all off their rockers! What happens to George that scares everyone? I like George's mum. "A wooly snake gone awry" was my favorite quote in the book. I love George and Murphy. Read to see why!

https://readerlinks.com/l/3596246Dahlia Donovan wrote her first romance series after a crazy dream about shifters and damsels in distress. Dahlia is an autistic who prefers irreverent humour and unconventional characters. She has found great happiness with her husband, her tiny dog Bacon, and her collection of books and video games.
Dahlia has worked over the years as a teacher, insurance adjuster, and even had a brief stint as the pianist in a band–very brief, like three weeks. She uses her experiences as a TCK travelling around the world during the first twenty-years of her life to add spice to her stories.
