A Vhampier’s Forbidden Wolf is about a steadfast and intense love that is rebelliously true to itself no matter the deadly threats, ill words, or uncaring expectations. This is about a love that transcends the boundaries of family and society to become freedom, hope, and family to those who embrace it. To deny this love is to deny one’s very existence and in turn to deny a part of yourself that will never be fulfilled. What a beautiful once in a lifetime love that blesses everyone that it comes in contact with!
Cynthia knows she doesn’t follow the rules. In fact, she’s pretty proud of that fact. She dances to the beat of her own drum, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. However, her family doesn’t take kindly to her personal version of life, love, and happiness. They look forward to making her settle down and conform to their desires and way of life. Some people are born to follow a path of their own making and in so doing touch the lives of many in a way that no one else can. Victor can’t believe that he is desiring a wolf as a mate. It’s unheard of and dangerous for a vhampier to mate with a wolf. Nothing good can come of it, or at least that’s what he has been told. No matter what he knows or how loudly he is threatened he can’t deny his heart’s longing for Cynthia. The harder they try to fight what is happening between them, the stronger and more insistent the pull to the other. Is their new love ready to fight the fierce battle that lies ahead, or will the disdain and cruelty of their societies break their tender, new found love forever?
Cynthia and Victor were such amazingly beautiful characters who were wildly perfect for each other. The fact that their differences were huge only made their love that much stronger. Once they realized they were each other’s mate, they were determined to hold on and never let go. A lifetime of boundless joy and happiness was surely worth what they would have to endure. I loved that neither of them truly gave up hope. In fact, they fought for their love with everything that made them who they were. They are truly inspiring and unforgettable!
P.T. Macias has scored another win with her latest story! You can just fill the intense emotion and heartfelt journey that her incredible characters find themselves stumbling across. There is no denying this beautiful story is a wonderful addition to her library!
